शिव महापुराण के अनुसार इस धरती पर देवों के देव महादेव जहां-जहां भी दिव्य ज्योति के रूप में प्रकट हुए वहां उनके लिंग स्वरूप की स्थापना हुई। हमारे सनातन वाङ्गमय में ज्योतिर्लिंग की पूजा, आराधना, दर्शन आदि का बहुत महत्व है। कहा जाता है कि द्वादश ज्योतिर्लिंगों के दर्शन मात्र से ही मनुष्यों के कई जन्मों के पाप नष्ट होकर उन्हें मोक्ष की प्राप्ति हो जाती है।

शिव महापुराण के शतरुद्र संहिता में ज्योतिष के आलोक में द्वादश राशियों के अनुसार द्वादश ज्योतिर्लिंगों का वर्णन है। शतरुद्र संहिता के अध्याय 42/2-4 के अनुसार, जिनकी कुंडली में कोई ग्रह यदि नीच की राशि में या मारक स्थान में स्थित हो या स्वयं मारकेश हो, उस स्थिति में जातक की जिस राशि में पीड़ित ग्रह उच्च का होता है उस राशि से संबंधित ज्योतिर्लिंगों के दर्शन, पूजन, अभिषेक और मंत्रोच्चार आदि करने से ग्रहपीड़ा से राहत मिलती है। आईए जानते हैं कि 12 राशियों से संबंध रखने वाले अति पवित्र 12 ज्योतिर्लिंग कौन-कौन से हैं?

01. मेष राशि {Aries}

मेष राशि के जातकों को तमिलनाडु में सूर्यवंशी भगवान श्रीराम द्वारा स्थापित “श्रीरामेश्वरम” ज्योतिर्लिंग के दर्शन और पूजन करना चाहिए। रामेश्वरम में मेष राशि से सम्बंधित ज्योतिर्लिंग है , जो कि सूर्यग्रह की उच्च राशि मानी जाती है। मेष राशि में सूर्य की ऊर्जा सबसे अधिक होती है। इस ज्योतिर्लिंग के दर्शन एवम पूजन से हमें तीव्र आत्मबल, उच्च पद की प्राप्ति, समाज में मान-प्रतिष्ठा इत्यादि की प्राप्ति होती है। इसके अलावा जिसके सूर्य नीच के हों या मारक स्थान में हों, उन्हें रामेश्वरम ज्योतिर्लिंग की पूजा और आराधना करने से विशेष लाभ होता है।

02. वृष राशि {Taurus}

वृष राशि के जातकों को गुजरात के सौराष्ट्र क्षेत्र में स्थित “श्रीसोमनाथ” ज्योतिर्लिंग की पूजा और आराधना करनी चाहिए। वृष राशि चंद्रग्रह की उच्च राशि होती है। कहा जाता है कि इस ज्योतिर्लिंग की स्थापना कठिन तपस्या के पश्चात स्वयं चंद्रदेव ने की थी। इस ज्योतिर्लिंग के दर्शन और पूजन से अच्छा स्वास्थ्य, रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता में वृद्धि, माता के सुख सहित प्रसन्नता पूर्वक सुखी जीवन प्राप्त होता है।

मन्त्र – “नमः शिवाय नमो सोमनाथाय नमो नमः”

03. मिथुन राशि {Gemini}

मिथुन राशि से संबंधित ज्योतिर्लिंग गुजरात के द्वारका जिले में स्थापित है। इन्हें “श्रीनागराज” ज्योर्तिलिंग कहा जाता है। इनका नाम नागों के राजा वासुकी के ऊपर पड़ा है। मिथुन राशि राहुग्रह की उच्च राशि मानी जाती है। राहुग्रह से पीड़ित लोगों को नागराज ज्योतिर्लिंग की पूजा आराधना और दर्शन करना चाहिए। इस ज्योतिर्लिंग के पूजन से बुद्धि और पराक्रम में वृद्धि होती है एवम राहुग्रह जनित पीड़ा की शांति होती है। जिनकी कुंडली में कालसर्प दोष हो, या राहु अशुभ प्रभाव दे रहे हों, उन्हें
इस ज्योर्तिलिंग के दर्शन पूजन से लाभ प्राप्त होता है।

04. कर्क राशि {Cancer}

कर्क राशि से संबंधित ज्योतिर्लिंग “श्रीओंकारेश्वर” ज्योतिर्लिंग हैं। कर्क राशि बृहस्पतिग्रह की उच्च राशि मानी जाती है। ओंकारेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग मध्य प्रदेश में खंडवा नामक जिले में पवित्र नर्मदा नदी के तट पर स्थित हैं और इनका दूसरा ज्योतिर्लिंग स्वरूप श्रीममलेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग है। उच्च कोटि की आध्यात्मिक शक्ति प्राप्त करने के लिए इन दोनों ज्योतिर्लिंगों की पूजा, आराधना और दर्शन अवश्य करना चाहिए। जिन लोगों का बृहस्पति कमजोर अवस्था में होता है उन्हें ओंकारेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग के दर्शन से लाभ होता है।

मन्त्र – “नमः शिवाय श्री ओम्कारेश्वराय नमो नमः”

05. सिंह राशि {Leo}

सिंह राशि वाले व्यक्तियों को महाराष्ट्र के औरंगाबाद स्थित “श्रीघृष्णेश्वर” ज्योतिर्लिंग की पूजा करनी चाहिए। इस ज्योतिर्लिंग के दर्शन और पूजन से संचित पापकर्मों का नाश होता है। इसके अलावा जिसकी जन्म पत्रिका में सूर्यग्रह कमज़ोर अवस्था मे हों, राहुग्रह और केतुग्रह द्वारा उन्हें ग्रहण लग रहा हो और शुभ परिणाम नहीं दे रहे हों, उन्हें इस ज्योतिर्लिंग के दर्शन और पूजन से लाभ होगा। इस ज्योतिर्लिंग की आराधना से व्यक्ति में आत्मबल की वृद्धि होती है और उसे समाज में प्रतिष्ठा प्राप्त होती है।

मन्त्र – “ॐ नमः शिवाय श्री घृष्णेश्वराय नमो नमः”

06. कन्या राशि {Virgo}

कन्या राशि से संबंधित ज्योतिर्लिंग आंध्र प्रदेश के श्रीशैलम पर्वत शिखर पर स्थित “श्रीमल्लिकार्जुन” ज्योतिर्लिंग है। कन्या राशि बुधग्रह की उच्च राशि है और भारतवर्ष का यह क्षेत्र बुध की चंद्रराशि के अंतर्गत आता है। जिनकी कुंडली में बुध कमजोर अवस्था में हो या शुभ परिणाम नहीं दे रहे हों उन्हें मल्लिकार्जुन ज्योतिर्लिंग के दर्शन और पूजन जरूर करने चाहिएं।

मन्त्र – “ॐ नमः शिवाय श्री मल्लिकार्जुनाय नमो नमः”

07. तुला राशि {Libra}

तुला राशि के जातकों को उज्जैन में स्थित “श्रीमहाकालेश्वर” ज्योतिर्लिंग की पूजा करनी चाहिए। कालों के काल महाकाल की नगरी भारत के उज्जैन शहर में शिप्रा नदी के तट पर स्थित है। यह स्थान भारत की कर्क रेखा से होकर गुजरता है। जहां से भारतीय मानक समय तय किया जाता है। तुला राशि शनिग्रह की उच्च राशि है और समस्त काल का संचालन शनिग्रह के हाथ में है। अतः जिनकी कुंडली में शनि की दशा, महादशा और साढ़ेसाती, ढैया आदि चलयमान हो तो उन्हें महाकाल ज्योतिर्लिंग के दर्शन पूजन और अभिषेक से बहुत राहत मिलती है।

08. वृश्चिक राशि {Scorpio}

झारखंड स्थित “श्रीबैद्यनाथधाम” ज्योतिर्लिंग से वृश्चिक राशि संबंधित है। वृश्चिक राशि मंगलग्रह की अपनी राशि है। इस ज्योतिर्लिंग के दर्शन, पूजन, अभिषेक से शारीरिक बल, उत्तम स्वास्थ्य, पराक्रम और साहस की प्राप्ति होती है। यहां व्यक्ति को विशेष आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा की प्राप्ति होती है। किसी भी शक्ति साधक को कुंडली जागरण के लिए बैद्यनाथ धाम के ज्योतिर्लिंग की पूजा करना आवश्यक होता है। जिनकी कुंडली में मंगल शुभ परिणाम नहीं दे रहे हों, उनको वैद्यनाथ धाम ज्योतिर्लिंग के पूजन से लाभ होता है।

09. धनु राशि {Sagittarius}

उत्तर प्रदेश के वाराणसी जिले में स्थित “श्रीकाशीविश्वनाथ” ज्योतिर्लिंग धनु राशि से संबंध रखते हैं। यह ज्योतिर्लिंग विश्व का सबसे पुराना जीवित शहर, बनारस में, पावन गंगा नदी के पश्चिमी तट पर स्थित है। यह ज्योतिर्लिंग देवों के नाथ, काशी विश्वनाथ महादेव के रूप में प्रसिद्ध है। यह स्थान केतुग्रह के अंतर्गत आता है। धनु राशि केतु की अपनी उच्च राशि है। केतु ग्रह मोक्षप्रदायिनीग्रह है, अतः काशी विश्वनाथ ज्योतिर्लिंग को मोक्ष प्रदाता ज्योतिर्लिंग भी कहा जाता है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि वाराणसी में देह त्यागने वाले व्यक्ति को जन्म-मरण के बंधन से मुक्ति मिल जाती है।

मन्त्र – “ॐ नमः श्री काशी विश्वेशराय नमः”

10. मकर राशि {Capricorn}

मकर राशि का संबंध महाराष्ट्र में पुणे के पास स्थित “श्रीभीमाशंकर” अथवा मोटेश्वर महादेव ज्योतिर्लिंग से है। मकर राशि मंगलग्रह का उच्च स्थान है। मंगल हमारे जीवन में पराक्रम शौर्य और अभय प्रदान करते हैं। और जीवन को मंगलमय बनाते हैं। भीमाशंकर ज्योतिर्लिंग भगवान शिव के अखंड पराक्रमी रूप को प्रस्तुत करता है। जिनकी कुंडली में मंगल संबंधी समस्या हो उन्हें इस ज्योतिर्लिंग के पूजन दर्शन से अत्यधिक लाभ होता है तथा शनिग्रह संबंधी समस्या भी शांत होती हैं।

मन्त्र – “ओम नमः शिवाय श्री भीमाशंकराय नमो नमः”

11. कुंभ राशि {Aquarius}

कुंभ राशि से संबंधित ज्योतिर्लिंग उत्तराखंड के केदारनाथ में स्थित है। यह शिवलिंग अति प्राचीन है और कहा जाता है कि महाभारत काल में पांडवों ने भी यहां आकर अभिषेक और पूजन किया था। द्वादश ज्योतिर्लिंगों में “श्रीकेदारनाथ” ज्योतिर्लिंग का सबसे अधिक महत्व है। यह ज्योतिर्लिंग राहुग्रह और शनिग्रह से संबंध रखता है। राहु और शनि से पीड़ित जातकों को इस ज्योतिर्लिंग की पूजा अवश्य करनी चाहिए। यह ज्योतिर्लिंग जीवन से अंधकार दूर करके हमारी आत्मा को प्रकाश की ओर उन्नत करता है।

मन्त्र – “ओम नमः शिवाय श्री केदारेश्वराय नमो नमः”

12. मीन राशि {Pisces}

मीन राशि का संबंध महाराष्ट्र के नासिक जिले में स्थित “श्रीत्रयंबकेश्वर” महादेव ज्योतिर्लिंग से माना जाता है। यहां पर पवित्र गोदावरी नदी का उद्गम स्थल भी माना जाता है। इस ज्योतिर्लिंग का नाम ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, महेश के सम्मिलित तीन रूपों का एकीकृत नाम त्रयम्बकेश्वर के नाम से पड़ा। मीन राशि शुक्रग्रह की उच्च राशि है। और शुक्रदेव जो मृत संजीवनी विद्या के ज्ञाता भी हैं। अतः यह ज्योतिर्लिंग असाध्य रोग, मृत्युतुल्य कष्ट, और पितरों, पूर्वजों जनित पीड़ा से मुक्ति प्रदान करता है। जिनकी कुंडली में पितृदोष और कालसर्पदोष हों उनको त्र्यंबकेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग की पूजा अर्चना अवश्य करनी चाहिए। यह ज्योतिर्लिंग महामृत्युंजय मंत्र के साथ भी जुड़ा हुआ है।

मन्त्र – “ओम नमः शिवाय श्री मृत्युंजाय त्रयम्बकेश्वराय नमो नमः”

आज के उपायुक्त आलेख में मैंने श्रीशिव महापुराण के शतरुद्र संहिता के अनुसार 12 चंद्र राशियों से संबंधित ज्योतिर्लिंगों का विवरण देने का प्रयास किया है। जो जातक स्वयं इन पावन ज्योतिर्लिंगों तक नहीं जा सकते हैं उन्हें अपने घर के पास ही शिवालय में अपनी राशि से संबंधित ज्योतिर्लिंग के मंत्रों का उच्चारण करना चाहिए और सम्मुख शिवलिंग को अपनी चंद्रराशि से संबंधित ज्योतिर्लिंग मानकर अभिषेक और पूजन करना चाहिए। मेरी प्रार्थना में प्रत्येक जातक को अपनी चंद्रराशि से संबंधित ज्योतिर्लिंग का दर्शन तथा पूजन अपने जीवन में एक बार अवश्य करना ही चाहिए।

According to Shiva Mahapuran, wherever Mahadev, the God of Gods, appeared on this earth in the form of divine light, his Linga form was established there. In our Sanatan literature, the worship, adoration, darshan etc. of Jyotirlinga has great importance. It is said that by merely visiting the twelve Jyotirlingas, the sins of many births of humans are destroyed and they attain salvation.

In the Shatrudra Samhita of Shiva Mahapuran, there is a description of twelve Jyotirlingas according to twelve zodiac signs in the light of astrology. According to chapter 42/2-4 of Shatrudra Samhita, if a planet in the horoscope is situated in a low sign or in a maraka sthan or is a maraka planet itself, then in that case, the native gets relief from planetary affliction by visiting, worshipping, doing Abhishek and chanting mantras of the Jyotirlingas related to the sign in which the afflicted planet is high. Let us know which are the 12 most sacred Jyotirlingas related to the 12 zodiac signs?

01. Aries

Aries natives should visit and worship the “Shri Rameshwaram” Jyotirlinga established by Lord Shri Ram, the Suryavanshi in Tamil Nadu. Rameshwaram has a Jyotirlinga related to Aries, which is considered to be the high sign of the Sun. The Sun’s energy is the highest in Aries. By visiting and worshipping this Jyotirlinga, we get strong self-confidence, attainment of a high position, respect in society, etc. Apart from this, those whose Sun is debilitated or in Marak place, they get special benefits by worshiping and worshiping Rameshwaram Jyotirlinga.

Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga is located on the banks of the holy Narmada River in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh and its second Jyotirlinga form is Shrimamleshwar Jyotirlinga. To attain high level spiritual power, one must worship, worship and visit both these Jyotirlingas. People whose Jupiter is in a weak state benefit from visiting Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga.

“Shri Kashi Vishwanath” Jyotirling located in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh belongs to Sagittarius. This Jyotirlinga is located in the world’s oldest living city, Banaras, on the western bank of the holy river Ganges. This Jyotirlinga is famous as the Lord of the Gods, Kashi Vishwanath Mahadev. This place comes under Ketu Graha. Sagittarius is Ketu’s own exalted sign. Ketu Graha is Mokshapradayini Graha, hence Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga is also known as Moksha Pradaata Jyotirlinga. It is believed that a person who dies in Varanasi gets freedom from the bondage of birth and death.

10. Capricorn

Capricorn is related to “Shri Bhimashankar” or Moteshwar Mahadev Jyotirling located near Pune in Maharashtra. Capricorn is the high place of Mars. Mars provides valor, courage and fearlessness in our life. And makes life auspicious. Bhimashankar Jyotirling presents the unbroken powerful form of Lord Shiva. Those who have problems related to Mars in their horoscope get immense benefit by worshipping this Jyotirling and problems related to Saturn also get pacified.

11. Aquarius

The Jyotirling related to Aquarius is located in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand. This Shivling is very ancient and it is said that even the Pandavas had come here during the Mahabharata period and had performed Abhishek and Puja. Among the twelve Jyotirlings, the “Shri Kedarnath” Jyotirling has the most importance. This Jyotirling is related to Rahu and Saturn. People suffering from Rahu and Saturn must worship this Jyotirling. This Jyotirling removes darkness from life and elevates our soul towards light.

12. Pisces

Pisces is related to the “Shri Trayambakeshwar” Mahadev Jyotirling located in Nasik district of Maharashtra. This is also considered to be the origin place of the holy river Godavari. This Jyotirling was named after the unified name of the three forms of Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Trayambakeshwar. Pisces is the exalted sign of Venus. And Shukradev is also the knower of Mrit Sanjeevani Vidya. Therefore, this Jyotirlinga provides freedom from incurable diseases, death-like sufferings, and pain caused by ancestors. Those who have Pitra Dosh and Kalsarpa Dosh in their Kundali must worship Tryambakeshwar Jyotirlinga. This Jyotirlinga is also associated with Mahamrityunjaya Mantra.

In today’s Upadhayak article, I have tried to give details of Jyotirlingas related to 12 lunar signs according to Shatrudra Samhita of Shri Shiv Mahapuran. Those people who cannot go to these holy Jyotirlingas themselves should chant the mantras of the Jyotirlinga related to their zodiac in the Shivalaya near their house and should perform Abhishek and Puja by considering the Shivalinga in front as the Jyotirlinga related to their lunar sign. In my prayer, every person must visit and worship the Jyotirlinga related to their lunar sign at least once in their life.
